| The Novato Housing Coalition is a local group that advocates
for Novato to plan and provide housing for the full range of people that
make this a community. In recent years our wealthier residents have had
a wide range of options. The current imbalances, in a trend that has lasted
for many years, has made housing difficult for the average Novato family,
and RARE for families with a lower than median income. Senior housing is
also a large and growing need for our city.
The coalition seeks to connect with the many groups in Novato that are affected by housing issues: that includes church organizations, nonprofits, Chamber of Commerce, service providers, shelters, unions, planners, builders, and residents. |
